And Pawlenty should do some serious reassessment, considering the effort he expended on this. I didn’t see his lame speech, but if it was as bad as his debate performances, some retooling is in order. And to Bachmann and her Bach-minions, congrats! But nobody is as crazy as straw poll-goers, so don’t get too cocky.

The consensus is that Pawlenty is done, which of course means he’s the GOP nominee for President of the United States of America. Honestly, at this point, how does he retool? It’s a little late in the game, and everybody else, for better or for worse, has staked out their territory defining who he or she is. Put simply, stick a fork in the next President of the United States!
